Perennial Maintenance. The show stoppers, perennials. A plethora of choices. Perennial plants return each year and require a bit of care from spring to spring. When the new buds are developing some pruning may be required and/or just pruning last years growth to make room for new. Throughout the growing season spent flowers need to be removed to encourage more flowering. Regular feedings are very important for the really big show. As in any landscaping, you want to plant so that your perennials have room to mature without crowding one another. Open space in a garden is equally wonderful as the flowers themselves.
